Patch & Software Agent
Failed patches and “can you install this for me?” tickets eat hours every week. The Patch & Software Agent checks why a patch failed, fixes the cause and retries, and installs approved software on request, all through your RMM.
Tickets it resolves every day
What lands in the queue, and what the agent does about it.

ResolvedCleared the update cache, freed disk space and re-ran the patch, all 4 now compliant.
Please install Adobe Acrobat
ResolvedChecked the approved catalog, installed it through the RMM and let the user know.

ResolvedPushed the update and confirmed the new version.
Can I get Spotify on my laptop?
ResolvedNot in the client's approved catalog, so it asked the manager for approval first.
What the Patch & Software agent handles
You choose which cases are enabled for each client, and how much it can do on its own.
Failed patches
- Finds why the patch failed
- Fixes disk, cache and service causes
- Retries and confirms compliance
- Escalates repeat failures
Software requests
- Installs from your approved catalog
- Asks for approval when needed
- Updates and reinstalls apps
- Uninstalls unwanted software
Compliance
- Keeps common apps current
- Reports devices behind on patches
- Logs every install in the ticket
- Follows each client's policy
Diagnose, plan, approve, execute
Diagnoses against live state
Checks the real state of the tenant, account or device, and pulls the client's SOP for the issue.
Builds a plan with sources
Every step cites where it comes from: a client SOP, live state, or a clearly flagged best practice.
Approve, or delegate
Your tech approves each action in one click, or you let trusted cases run on their own.
Executes, verifies and logs
Runs the approved actions, confirms the fix worked and writes everything to the ticket and audit trail.
Patch & Software Agent questions
Can users install anything they ask for?
No. The agent only installs software from the client's approved catalog. Anything else goes to the manager or your team for approval first.
Does it replace our patch policies?
No. Your RMM patch policies keep running. The agent works the exceptions: failed patches, out-of-date apps and one-off requests.
