Nilear Setup Guide

Purpose

This document outlines the standardized steps for configuring Mizo to work with Nilear, enabling access to the Mizo AI assistant pod directly through Nilear’s interface.

CAUTION

The Nilear integration requires ConnectWise PSA to be configured first. If you haven’t set up ConnectWise, please complete that integration before proceeding. See the ConnectWise PSA Setup Guide.

Prerequisites

Before configuring the Nilear integration, you must have:

  1. An active Mizo account with administrator access
  2. ConnectWise PSA integration already configured in Mizo
  3. A Nilear account with access to embed external applications

Section 1 – Enable Nilear in Mizo Console

Step 1: Navigate to Integrations

  1. Log in to the Mizo Console.
  2. Click on Settings in the left navigation menu.
  3. Select Integrations.
  4. Find and click on Nilear in the Experience category.

Step 2: Enable Standalone Mode

  1. Toggle the Enable Standalone Mode switch to ON.
  2. Once enabled, you will see the Standalone Pod URL field appear.

INFO

If you see a warning that “ConnectWise integration required”, you must first configure the ConnectWise PSA integration before you can enable Nilear.

Step 3: Copy the Standalone URL

  1. The Standalone Pod URL field displays your unique URL in the following format:

    https://app.mizo.tech/hostedapis/connectwiseiframe/{organizationId}?ticketId=[cw_id]&clientName={yourCompany}&nilear=true
  2. Click the Copy button next to the URL field to copy it to your clipboard.

  3. Click Save to save your configuration.

Section 2 – Update ConnectWise Hosted API

If you want to use the same URL for both Nilear standalone mode and ConnectWise embedded mode, you can update your Hosted API configuration in ConnectWise.

Step 1: Access Setup Tables

  1. Log in to ConnectWise PSA as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to System > Setup Tables.
  3. Search for and select Hosted API Pods.

Step 2: Update the Mizo Pod URL

  1. Find your existing Mizo Hosted API pod.
  2. Update the Origin URL to your new Standalone Pod URL from Mizo.
  3. This URL works in both embedded (ConnectWise) and standalone (Nilear) modes.

Section 3 – Testing

Step 1: Verify the Integration

  1. Open Nilear and navigate to a ticket.
  2. The Mizo pod should load automatically.
  3. Verify that you can:
    • View ticket information
    • Interact with the AI agents
    • Access all Mizo features

Troubleshooting

  • Pod doesn’t load: Verify the Standalone URL is correct and Nilear integration is enabled in Mizo
  • “ConnectWise required” error: Configure the ConnectWise PSA integration in Mizo first
  • Authentication issues: Reload MTX using the “Clear Cache and Reload MTX” button in the header. If this is not working, ensure cookies are enabled in your browser; Nilear uses secure cookies for authentication

INFO

The first time you access Mizo through Nilear, there may be a brief delay while the authentication handshake completes. This is normal behavior.
