Hudu Setup Guide

Purpose

This document outlines the standardized steps for setting up an API integration between Hudu and Mizo.

Section 1 – Create an API Key in Hudu

Step 1: Log in to Hudu

• Sign in to your Hudu instance using an Administrator account.

Step 2: Navigate to API Key Settings

1. Click on Admin on the top bar
2. From the left-hand menu, choose API Keys.
3. Click + New API Key.

Step 3: Configure the API Key

1. Name the key (e.g., Mizo Integration).

2. Key can perform the following action:

   • Uncheck View passwords.
   • Uncheck Delete data
   • Uncheck Export data

3. Click Save.

   CAUTION

   The API key will only be shown once — copy it immediately and save it in the Mizo console.

Section 2 – Configure Hudu Integration in Mizo

Step 1: Open the Integration Panel

1. Log into the Mizo console.
2. In the left-hand menu, go to Integrations.
3. Select Hudu from the list.

Step 2: Enter Hudu API Details

1. Hudu URL: Enter your full Hudu instance URL (e.g., https://docs.yourcompany.com)
2. API Key: Paste the API key generated in Section 1.

Step 3: Save and Test

1. Click Save Configuration.
2. Wait for the connection test to complete.
   • If the test fails, double-check the API key and permissions.
3. Once successful, the integration is active.
