Send Urgent Ticket Alerts to Microsoft Teams

Mizo can post a notification to a Teams channel or chat whenever it triages a ticket as High urgency — or Medium and above, if you prefer — so urgent work doesn’t wait for someone to look at the board.

Steps

  1. Create the webhook in Teams. In the channel (or chat) that should receive alerts, open … → Workflows and use the Send webhook alerts to a channel template (or Send webhook alerts to a chat). Finish the steps until Teams shows a URL, and copy it. The Workflows app must be added to your Teams setup.
  2. Open the Teams integration in Mizo. In the Mizo console, go to Integrations → Teams.
  3. Turn on notifications. Enable the notifications switch. You can turn it off later without losing the configuration.
  4. Choose the urgency level. High is the default; you can choose Medium instead. Levels are based on how Mizo triages the ticket.
  5. Paste the webhook URL you copied from Teams.
  6. Test the connection. Mizo sends a test message to the webhook. If it arrives in Teams, you’re done.

Good to know

  • Notifications follow the urgency the Triage Agent sets. If alerts fire too often or too rarely, tune your urgency and impact rules in Fine-Tuning Rules.
  • Treat the webhook URL as a secret. If it’s exposed, delete the workflow in Teams and create a new one.
  • If no messages arrive, check that the Teams workflow is still active and that the URL in Mizo matches exactly — it’s case-sensitive.
