AI phone agent for MSPs on 3CX
Plenty of MSPs run their own help desk line on 3CX. Route the support DID, a queue's no-answer destination or out-of-office hours to your Mizo number, and the Phone Agent handles the conversation and the ticket.

About 3CX: 3CX is a software-based business phone system (PBX) that MSPs run on-premises or hosted, connected to SIP trunks.
What the Phone Agent does for 3CX users
You control the PBX. Mizo is just another destination in your call flow.
Out-of-office routing
Use 3CX office hours so calls outside business hours go to Mizo instead of a voicemail box nobody checks until morning.
Queue no-answer destination
Set Mizo as the destination when your support queue times out, so callers never get stuck waiting.
Caller matched to the PSA contact
The Phone Agent identifies the caller's company and contact in your PSA and opens or updates the ticket with the transcript.
Hand-back to on-call
Emergencies are transferred to the on-call number you set, which can be a 3CX extension's mobile.
How Mizo works with 3CX
There is no API integration with 3CX. You forward calls from 3CX to a dedicated Mizo phone number. The Phone Agent answers, matches the caller to a contact in your PSA, creates or updates the ticket with the transcript, and transfers to your on-call technician when a human is needed. Your numbers stay where they are.
How to set it up in 3CX
Mizo runs in recommendation mode first, writing its reasoning to each ticket, and moves to autonomous handling only where you allow it.
Get your Mizo number
Mizo provides a dedicated phone number for your Phone Agent.
Add Mizo to your call flow
In the 3CX admin console, send the support inbound rule, the queue's no-answer destination or out-of-office routing to the Mizo number as an external destination.
Set on-call transfers
Tell Mizo where to transfer emergencies and how to handle specific clients.
Mizo and 3CX: common questions
Does forwarding use trunk capacity?
Usually, yes. A call forwarded out of 3CX typically uses an outbound channel on your SIP trunk for its duration. Check your trunk's simultaneous call limit if you expect bursts.
Is there a 3CX app or CRM integration to install?
No. Mizo works through call routing alone; nothing is installed on your 3CX system.
Will Mizo see the original caller ID?
That depends on your trunk's caller ID settings for forwarded calls. If only your own number is presented, the Phone Agent identifies the caller by asking for their name and company.
Can we start with after-hours only?
Yes. Routing only out-of-office calls to Mizo is a common first step.
